UCC Volleyball: Riverhawks finish nonleague with sweep over Pacific JV

WINCHESTER — The Umpqua Riverhawks volleyball team finished out its nonleague schedule with a sweep against the Pacific University JV squad Wednesday night at Umpqua Community College.

The Riverhawks controlled the match from the get-go and easily won each set. The set scores were 14-25, 16-25, 13-25.

Umpqua improved to 4-4 overall on the season with the win in their home debut.

Atyana Crosby led the Riverhawks with seven kills. Dakota Coffman had seven digs and Julianna Wandler led the way with 18 assists.

Up next, the UCC women begin league play against the Lane Titans at 6 p.m. on Friday in Eugene.
