Legion Baseball: Northwest Regional Day 1 schedule/results

The American Legion Baseball Northwest Regional starts Wednesday at Harry & David Field in Medford. The 8-team tournament will determine one of the eight teams to reach the American Legion Baseball World Series Aug. 13-18 at Keeter Stadium in Shelby, N.C.

The Tigard Barbers are the reigning Northwest Regional champions. The Barbers have reached the regional tournament again this year after going undefeated through the Oregon state tournament last week in Medford.

The Medford Mustangs are also in the regional tournament field as the host team. The Mustangs have won the regional tournament five times and were last in the tourney in 2022.

Here’s the schedule for Day 1 of the Northwest Regional:

Wednesday, Aug. 5

Game 1: Kennewick (WA) vs Kenai (AK), 9:30 a.m.

Game 2: Honolulu (HI) vs Cheyenne (WY), 12:30 p.m.

Game 3: Lewiston (ID) vs Tigard (OR), 4:00 p.m.

Game 4: Missoula (MT) vs Medford (OR), 7:00 p.m.
