Ducks and Beavers start baseball preseason in top 25

The start of the college baseball season is a month away for Oregon State and Oregon.

The OSU baseball team opens the 2025 season ranked seventh per D1Baseball.com, which released its preseason top 25 on Monday. It’s the second preseason ranking for the Beavers, who also find themselves at No. 10 in the Perfect Game top 25, released last week.

The Beavers finished the 2024 season with a 45-16 record, advancing to the program’s ninth NCAA Super Regional. OSU was ranked in the top 10 in every one of D1’s top-25 rankings last season, ending the year at No. 10.

The Oregon Ducks start the season right where they ended it. UO was No. 12 to finish last season and D1baseball.com has the Ducks back at that spot to begin this spring.

Oregon went 40-20 last year and reached the Super Regional round of the NCAA Tournament. The Ducks were also ranked No. 14 in the Perfect Game rankings last week.

The Oregon State Beavers begin the season at the College Baseball Classic on Feb. 14 in Surprise, Arizona. Fans can tune in to hear Oregon State baseball games on The Score 92.3 FM and 1490 AM.

The Oregon Ducks host Toledo for a season-opening, four-game series starting Feb. 14 at PK Park in Eugene. Fans can catch the Ducks on News Radio 93.9 FM and 1240 KQEN.
