Umpqua women’s soccer falls to Portland CC, 2-0

The Umpqua women’s soccer team lost 2-0 against the Portland Panthers in a Northwest Athletic Conference South Region contest on Wednesday in Portland.

The Panthers scored the go-ahead goal just 81 seconds into the match and tacked on another goal shortly after halftime. The Riverhawks managed just one shot on goal.

UCC goalkeeper Kiley Jones made eight saves in net.

The Umpqua women will host the Rogue Osprey on Saturday at Sutherlin High School.
