Docs keep rolling with a pair of non-league wins
Roseburg 5, Portland 4
Brooks Avery’s RBI double in the sixth inning broke a tie game and Dr. Stewart’s held on for a 5-4 win over the Portland Barbers at Willamette University in Salem.
Avery, Paxton Burke and Cole Collins all had two hits in the game. Burke earned the win with five scoreless innings, allowing four hits and two walks, while striking out three.

Roseburg 17, Salem 5
The Docs were locked in a battle with the Salem-Withnell Dodgers for the first five innings, but the Docs broke the game open with a 12-run sixth inning to beat the Dodgers 17-5 at Willamette University.
The Docs had 18 hits in the win, including three hits each from Drew Camp and Cal and Luke Robbins, who also had five RBIs. Brevin Harrison had a three-run home run for Dr. Stewart’s.
Logan Anderson got the win after three scoreless innings, allowing one hit, two walks and striking out five.
