Ducks and Beavers see 11 players selected during NFL Draft

DETROIT — The NFL Draft wrapped up on Saturday and all told there were 11 players from Oregon and Oregon State taken throughout the seven rounds.

The Ducks set a new program record with eight players selected. Quarterback Bo Nix started the selections in the first round on Thursday when he was taken 12th overall by the Denver Broncos. Offensive lineman Jackson Power-Johnson went in the second round on Friday to the Las Vegas Raiders.

Oregon saw a flurry of picks on Saturday during Day 3. A total of five players were taken in the fourth round, including receiver Troy Franklin who joins Nix in Denver. Linebacker Jamal HIll was the final Duck off the board in the sixth round.

Oregon State saw three players drafted. Taliese Fuaga was a first round selection for the Beavers. The lineman was picked by the New Orleans Saints at 14th overall. Receiver Anthony Gould (Indianapolis) and safety Kitan Oladapo (Green Bay) were both taken in the fifth round.
