SALEM — The Sprague/South Salem boys lacrosse team stunned Roseburg with a late goal to force overtime and the Olympians finished the comeback in the extra session for a 6-5 nonleague win on Monday at Olympic Stadium.

Roseburg (1-2) led 4-0 at halftime and held a 5-4 lead with two minutes to go in regulation.

The final minutes of the game were delayed 20 minutes after the stadium lights turned off. Sprague (1-1) came out of the delay and earned its first win of the season, snapping an 18-game losing streak.

The Indians won 57% of its faceoffs. Zeke Lander led the Tribe with two goals. Oscar Stribling, James Allen and Dom Williams also contributed scores.

Andy McCurdy had 15 saves in net.

Roseburg heads to West Albany for a nonleague game at 8 p.m. Wednesday.
