The Oregon Ducks and Oregon State Beavers have landed even more names on preseason watch lists ahead of the 2023 campaign.

Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was selected for the Davey O’Brien Award watch list. The award is presented annually to the nation’s best college quarterback and is the oldest and most prestigious national quarterback award. Nix was a semifinalist last season.

Oregon wide receivers Troy Franklin and Tez Johnson were on the Biletnikoff Award watch list announced this week. The award honors the top receiver in the country.

Oregon State running back Damien Martinez has been named to the watch list for the Doak Walker Award, which is given annually to the nation’s top running back. The watch list was revealed on Wednesday. Also included on the list were Oregon backs Bucky Irivington and Noah Whittington.

The college football season kicks off the first weekend in September. Oregon hosts Portland State on Sept. 2 and Oregon State visits San Jose State on Sept. 3.
