The track and field season wrapped up for the Umpqua Riverhawks at the Northwest Athletic Conference championships at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham on Tuesday.
The UCC men finished in fourth place as a team, just half a point away from the top 3. The Umpqua women placed fifth.
The Riverhawks had three individual champions at the meet. Rachel Noyce won the women’s high jump with a PR mark of 5 feet, 4.25 inches.

Whitney Lindsey claimed first in the women’s javelin with a throw of 149 feet, 1 inch.

Colby Neron took first in the men’s javelin with a PR throw of 219 feet, 8 inches.

Also taking first at the championship meet was Roseburg native Landyn Dupper, who raced to the front of the pack to win the men’s 100 meter dash for the Lane Titans.
