Western Oregon University baseball coach Kellen Walker, a Roseburg High School graduate, was named the Great Northwest Athletic Conference coach of the year for a second consecutive season on Wednesday.

It’s the fourth time Walker has earned the award in his career. 

The WOU Wolves claimed a second consecutive GNAC regular season title this season, going 20-9 in conference. Western Oregon will look to defend its GNAC tournament title from last year when the tourney gets underway today in Lacey, Wash.
