The high school wrestling state championships have fallen victim to Mother Nature. The first day of competition has been postponed due to significant snowfall in the Portland area.
The Veterans Memorial Coliseum, which hosts the wrestling tournament, has closed its campus on Thursday. Wrestling was supposed to begin for competitors in the 1A-4A classifications. The OSAA is working to develop a revised schedule and says it will provide updates as soon as possible.
