Former Roseburg High School and Umpqua Community College pitcher Austin Anderson has committed to continue his playing career and education at the University of Oregon. The UCC athletic department announced the commitment on Wednesday.
Anderson will join fellow Roseburg High grad and former Umpqua pitcher Jace Stoffal with the Ducks. Stoffal spent last spring with the Ducks after one season with the Riverhawks.
Anderson made 12 appearances this spring for UCC. He finished with a 2-0 record and three saves. Anderson posted a 0.68 ERA with 45 strikeouts and 10 walks over 39 2/3 innings pitched.
