Jace Stoffal, a Roseburg High grad and Umpqua Community College student-athlete, discusses his recent commitment to the University of Oregon to play baseball for the Ducks. Stoffal was a Southwest Conference pitcher of the year at Roseburg High in 2019 and led Umpqua Community College with a 6-2 record in nine starts this spring. He currently is playing American Legion baseball with the Roseburg Dr. Stewart’s and leads the team with a 0.60 ERA in 46.2 innings pitched. He has a 5-0 record in seven starts and has struckout 62 while walking just 13.
