The Pac-12 Conference held a virtual media day for its women’s basketball teams on Tuesday as the season closes in on the opening tipoff.

The conference released the preseason media poll as a part of the media day festivities and the Oregon Ducks were picked to finish third, while the Oregon State Beavers were voted fifth.

The three-time defending conference champion Ducks did not receive a first place vote from the media. Stanford garnered 19 of the 21 available votes. Arizona was picked second in the poll and received one first place vote. The Beavers received the final first place tally.

The coaches poll was also released on Tuesday and had Oregon tied for second with Arizona, while OSU was again in fifth place.

The media also selected its preseason all-conference team. Oregon’s Erin Boley and Sedona Prince were both named to the team, along with Oregon State’s Kennedy Brown, Aleah Goodman and Taylor Jones.

Oregon and Oregon State have not released any details about their non-conference schedules to begin the 2020-21 season later this month.
