The NBA has announced that all of Wednesday’s playoff games have been postponed, including Game 5 of the Portland Trail Blazers’ first round series against the Los Angeles Lakers. The decision by the league comes after the Milwaukee Bucks chose not to play in Game 5 against the Orlando Magic as a form of protest in response to the police shooting of an unarmed Black man, Jacob Blake, in Kenosha, WI on Sunday.
The games will be rescheduled, but further details have not been announced. Portland is trailing the Lakers 3-1 and facing elimination in its first round series. Damian Lillard was going to miss Wednesday’s game and is likely out for the remainder of the season with a right knee sprain.
