ABERDEEN, WASH. — The Umpqua Community College women’s wrestling team finished second out of five teams at the National Collegiate Wrestling Association Northwest Regional championship tournament on Sunday at Aberdeen High School.
The RiverHawks had three individual champions and finished 17.5 points behind team champion Grays Harbor.
Grace Miller (145), Mariah Annis (123) and Tatum Pine (130) all took first in their weight class and the RiverHawks will take all nine wrestlers that competed at the regional tournament to the national championship tournament in Allen, TX. The tournament begins on Friday.
