The Associated Press released its men’s college basketball preseason top 25 rankings on Monday.
The Oregon men were one of two teams from the Pac-12 ranked in the top 25. The Ducks, the preseason favorites to win the Pac-12 title, were voted 15th in the poll, marking the second straight season UO has started in the rankings.
This is the fourth time in the last seven seasons that Oregon has started the season ranked. The Ducks were ranked 14th to start last year.
No. 21 Arizona was the only other Pac-12 team represented in the rankings.
Oregon has two non-conference meetings against top 25 teams. The Ducks face No. 14 Memphis in the Phil Knight Invitational and No. 12 Seton Hall in the opening round of the Battle 4 Atlantis.
