Oregon and Oregon State took home some of the weekly honors from the Pac-12 Conference after each squad went on the road and pulled off wins last weekend.
Oregon quarterback Justin Herbert was named the offensive player of the week and Ducks senior Calvin Throckmorton was chosen as the Pac-12 offensive lineman of the week.
Herbert connected on 24-of-38 passes for 280 yards and four touchdowns in Oregon’s 35-31 comeback win at Washington. Throckmorton had a 100 percent assignment grade from the Oregon coaches and was the sixth-highest graded offensive lineman in the Pac-12 by Pro Football Focus.
Oregon State’s Daniel Rodriguez earned his second Pac-12 special teams player of the week award after punting for an average of 40.9 yards per attempt, in OSU’s 21-17 win over California.
