The summer American Legion baseball season is about to begin.

American Legion baseball tryouts get underway Tuesday, May 28 at Legion Field in Roseburg and the AAA Dr. Stewart’s season begins in week.

Tryouts start at 4 p.m. for freshman and sophomores. Seniors and juniors will have tryouts from 6-8 p.m. Tryouts continue on Wednesday, May 29. New Docs head coach Jeremiah Robbins and his coaching staff will designate players for the three local Legion teams, the Dr. Stewart’s (AAA), Pepsi Bottlecaps (A) and the Dr. Randol Crowns (A).

Season tickets are now on sale. A season ticket is valid for home games of all three Legion teams.
