GRANTS PASS – The Roseburg High School golf teams were in action in Grants Pass for their first Southwest Conference meet of the season on Monday.

The Roseburg girl’s finished first in the team standings, edging Grants Pass by 16 strokes. Ally Sandfort finished second overall and led the Indians with a score of 86 on the 18-hole course at the Grants Pass Golf Club.

The boy’s golf team took third with a team score of 364 and was 16 strokes behind first place Sheldon. Junior Bryce Thomason finished second overall and led Roseburg with an 18-hole score of 78.

The Roseburg golf teams will next host the Cascade Challenge at the Roseburg Country Club on April 12.
