EUGENE – Oregon junior Sabrina Ionescu earned her second Pac-12 Player of the Week award this season on Monday after helping lead the UO women’s basketball team to wins over Cal and then-No. 11 Stanford last week. This is the eighth weekly award all-time for Ionescu, which ties her for the third most in conference history.

Ionescu averaged 27.0 points last week while shooting 63 percent from the field and 75 percent from three-point range. She helped the Ducks stretch their winning streak to a nation-best 16 games.

The Oregon women remain the lone unbeaten team in the Pac-12. After two convincing wins last week, the Ducks picked up three first place votes in the Associated Press top 25 announced Monday.

UO still sits third in the rankings, but has gained ground on top-ranked Baylor and second-ranked Louisville.

Oregon State fell two spots in the latest AP rankings to No. 9. The Beavers lost to then-No. 11 Stanford on Friday, but defeated Cal on Sunday to stay two-games behind the Ducks in the Pac-12 standings.

Stanford jumped one spot to No. 10 in the poll, despite suffering a 40-point loss to Oregon on Sunday. Arizona State is the only other Pac-12 team in the poll at No. 19.
