GRANTS PASS (Sept. 28) – The Roseburg volleyball team continued its winning streak with a five-set win over Grants Pass on Thursday. The Tribe won the first two sets, but had to go to a fifth set to defeat the Cavemen for their sixth straight win. The final set was a tight one, much like the rest of the match. Roseburg squeezed out a 15-12 win to take the victory.
Roseburg moved into a tie with Sheldon for first place in the league standings with the win. The Irish lost their first conference match in a 3-0 defeat to South Eugene. Roseburg will play at South Eugene on Tuesday.
