(Friday, Sept. 21) – Tonight’s high school football schedule features a number of intriguing match-ups, including cross-county meetings and the start of league play.
First, the Roseburg Indians are headed on the road again for another lengthy road trip. The Tribe visits the Bend Lava Bears tonight for their final nonconference game before starting league play next week. Roseburg is riding high off its first win of the season, while Bend is coming off an emotional overtime victory against North Medford.
Tonight’s game starts at 6:45 p.m. on CBS Sports Radio 1490 The Score or watch online at 541radio.com.
In other non-league games tonight, the Sutherlin Bulldogs make the short trip down I-5 to visit the South Umpqua Lancers. Both teams enter with 2-1 records. A win for Sutherlin would give the Bulldogs county bragging rights over the other 3A level schools. Sutherlin has already gotten a win over Douglas.
