ROSEBURG – The new turf at Finlay Field has treated the Roseburg Indians well. So far Roseburg teams are undefeated on the newly installed playing surface.

The Roseburg boys soccer team scored a 3-1 win over Sheldon on Tuesday to claim its first win on the new field and in conference play. The boys soccer team followed the RHS football team, which won at Finlay Field on Friday night last week in the first game played on the new turf.

Senior Patrick Giraudo scored all three goals for Roseburg on assists by Jonathan Colunga and Fernando Bitelli.

The RHS boys are now 1-1 in conference play and 2-3-1 overall. Up next, Roseburg hits the road for a trip to North Medford on Saturday.
