ROSEBURG – The Roseburg girls’ soccer team remained undefeated on the season with a narrow 1-0 victory over the Ashland Grizzlies on Tuesday.

Freshman Madasyn Van Acker continued her hot start for the Tribe and scored the lone goal of the game. She hit the back of the net early in the game and Roseburg goalkeeper Emily Wheeler kept the Grizzlies off the scoreboard with the shutout.

The Roseburg girls will begin Southwest Conference play in their next match. The Tribe faces South Eugene on Saturday at home on the new turf field at Roseburg High School.
