EUGENE – While the Oregon Ducks get ready to battle it out between the lines on Saturday’s, work has been going on in the labs at Nike to create the look for Oregon 2.0 this fall.

Under new head coach Mario Cristobal, the Oregon Ducks have taken on a slightly different demeanor. UO football will continue to use speed and agility to dominate games, but Cristobal has also preached a disciplined, physical style of play. Those characteristics were used to design new uniform combinations for the Ducks in 2018.

The new uniforms will feature the traditional school colors of green and yellow and stream-lined bold looks. The helmets will don the popular wings for every game and players will have clearly visible numbers on the front and back. Oregon presented a total of four color combinations at the Hatfield-Dowlin Complex on Wednesday – green, yellow, black, and white.

The uniform redesign is nothing new to the Ducks, but this round of updates coincides with the changes being made at Autzen Stadium. As previously announced, Autzen’s parking lots will open earlier for most games this season, a clear-bag policy is being enacted, and there will be expanded alcohol sales and monitoring.

UO officials also announced on Wednesday the addition of 100 new points of sale for concessions in 2018, and a 36 percent increase in temporary restrooms inside the stadium. The pregame atmosphere will be enhanced by live music before every game in the Moshofsky Center, a play area for kids featuring inflatables on Pape Field when weather permits, and the River Pig tailgater in the parking lot.

There will be additional concession items including a dessert case and nacho bar in the Club Room, and a new $3 price point for corndogs, soda and peanuts throughout the stadium.
