ROSEBURG – The Douglas County Fair will host the Coastal Farm and Ranch Challenge of the Champions bull riding tour Saturday on the final night of fair activities.

It’s one of three stops in Roseburg for the tour, which is Sandpoint, Idaho for a competition Friday. The News-Review reports that between 25-30 bull riders are expected for the stop in Roseburg Saturday night.

The top 25 riders during the regular season advance to the finals held in January at the Jackson County Expo in Central Point.

Bull riding at the fair starts at 5 p.m. Saturday. Admission to the competition is included with entry into the Douglas County Fair. The event will be recorded and re-broadcast on The Cowboy Channel on Aug. 18.
