ROSEBURG – As July winds down and August rolls in, so does the beginning of football season. Roseburg High School will host its annual youth football camp starting Monday night and running through Thursday (July 30-August 2).
The camp goes from 6:30-8:00 p.m. every night and will be held at Roseburg High School on the grass practice field next to the football stadium at Finlay Field.
The youth camp is geared for K-8th graders with a focus on the fundamentals of the game. Instructors for the camp are RHS football coach Dave Heuberger and assistants from the Indians’ coaching staff.
The only equipment needed is athletic clothing and cleats are suggested. A camp t-shirt will be given to each athlete. The 4-day youth camp costs $50 and registration can be done Monday night before camp begins.
