ROSEBURG – The Roseburg Pepsi Bottlecaps stretched their winning streak to 14-games with a sweep over league opponent South Coos on Monday. The ‘Caps won 20-0 in the opener and cruised to a 22-4 win in game two. Both games ended after five innings.

Pepsi took a 1-0 lead in the first inning of game one, but then blew open the game with eight runs in the third. Another 11 runs in the fourth inning put the game out of reach.

Riley Culberhouse led the offensive onslaught with three RBI. Ever Lamm tossed four innings to get the win.

In game two, the Bottlecaps scored at least four runs in every inning. Trevor Muir tallied four RBI, Culberhouse had another three RBI, and Clayton Brelage added two RBI. Azpyn Roberts earned the win on the mound.

The ‘Caps are now 17-1 on the year. Up next, they’ll visit North Coos for a single game on Wednesday.
