ROSEBURG – The Roseburg High School girls soccer team has a new head coach for the varsity program. Kristin Parks has been hired to take over for Darcy Vredenburg, who coached the program the past four years.
Parks has been a long-time club soccer coach in Roseburg, but will be coaching a high school team for the first time, according to a report from the News-Review.
She takes over a team that went winless last season, but was a young squad with only three seniors. The Indians will return a majority of the roster, including Parks’ daughter Kaitlyn Riley, who will be a junior on the team next year.
