The Yoncalla Eagles outlasted Mapleton 108-72 barn-burner on Friday night. The Eagles fell two points shy of tying a state record for the most points scored by an 8-man team in one game. The combined 180 points between Yoncalla and Mapleton breaks the previous record for most points scored in a game by two teams. Triad and Elkton set the record in 2012 with a combined 172 points.
