The Roseburg football team held off David Douglas for nearly 47 of the 48 minutes of game play in a high school football contest, but the Scots scored the game-winning touchdown in the final 90 seconds to pull of a 20-16 victory over the Indians on Friday night. FULL STORY

The Douglas Trojans scored on their first drive of the game and dominated the first half of their 27-0 non-league victory over Sutherlin Friday night, on the artificial turf at Sutherlin High School. FULL STORY

North Valley 29, SOUTH UMPQUA 26
Mistakes cost South Umpqua and the Lancers’ defense proved vulnerable to North Valley’s running game as the Knights rallied for a 29-26 nonleague victory at Kent Wigle Stadium on Friday night. FULL STORY

Glide 41, RIDDLE 12
Charles Hardage and Nathan Hopkins combined for 277 yards rushing for the Riddle Irish, but it just wasn’t enough to overcome the visiting Wildcats as Glide won 41-12 in a nonleague contest. FULL STORY

Andrew Harrington threw three touchdown passes to Austin Sadler and Oakland’s defense held Central Linn to 119 rushing yards as the Oakers claimed a 20-13 nonleague victory on Friday night. FULL STORY

Austin Monroe rushed for 101 yards and scored twice as Elkton overcame a sluggish start to match its win total from 2015 with a 56-34 victory over Mapleton at Saladen Field. FULL STORY
