This is Payton’s second season with the Dr. Stewart’s. Played in six games last year and pitched in 13 (9 starts). Tied for second most innings pitched for Docs last season.
Earned 1st Team All-League honors as an infielder. It was Payton’s second year earning all-league status. He was also named to the All-State team as an honorable mention utility player as a junior.
Payton also played basketball for the Sutherlin Bulldogs. He has signed to play with coach Robbins and the Umpqua Community College baseball team.
