Prep Softball: Roseburg’s Agee named co-Pitcher of the Year in SWC All-League voting
Roseburg ace Harlee Agee made an instant impact in her first season with the Indians. The junior hurler was voted Pitcher of the Year in the Southwest Conference along with North Medford junior Julia Edwards, in voting announced recently.
Agee also earned first team honors in the circle to lead nine total All-League selections for Roseburg. The Indians (17-9, 12-6 SWC) finished the regular season in third place in the Southwest Conference standings.
Joining Agee on the first team list were catcher Terra Singleton and infielder Ciera Singleton.
The Indians were well represented in the outfield on the All-League second team. Senior Danika Opp earned honors along with junior Cadence Ellenwood and freshman Emma Cole.
Receiving honorable mention recognition for Roseburg were Mackenzie Moss (infielder), Madison Moss (infielder) and Adley Forte (utility).
The Roseburg Indians begin the Class 6A state playoffs at 4 p.m. Monday at Barlow in Gresham.
