Prep golf: Roseburg competes at Grants Pass Invitational
GRANTS PASS — The Roseburg boys and girls golf teams returned from spring break with a conference tournament at the Grants Pass Golf Club.
Roseburg sophomore Lana Silvestri shot two-over par to win the girls’ tournament with a score of 76. She led the RHS girls to a third place finish. The Indians had all five golfers finish inside the top 20.
The Roseburg boys finished fifth in the team standings, led by Aaron Familio and Drayson Scheel. The pair both shot 100 over the 18-hole course.
The Indians will next compete at the Crater Invitational on Thursday at Eagle Point Golf Course.
