#UmpquaPreps: South Umpqua boys exit state playoffs with 3-0 loss to Blanchet Catholic

TRI-CITY — The fall season came to an end for the South Umpqua boys soccer team in the second round of the Class 3A/2A/1A state playoffs on Wednesday at South Umpqua High School.

The 10th-ranked Lancers fell to No. 6 Blanchet Catholic 3-0. The Cavaliers advance to face the top-seed, Catlin Gabel, in the quarterfinals on Saturday.

South Umpqua finished the season with an 11-2-3 overall record.
