South Umpqua football looking for assistants this fall
TRI CITY — The high school football season is getting close, but the South Umpqua Lancers are seeking assistants to help fill out their coaching staff for this fall.
The Lancers are looking for three paid assistants to help head coach Steve Stebbins during the 2024 season. The job posting says previous coaching experience is preferable and that candidates must be sufficiently skilled in coaching methods, injury prevention and technical/strategic knowledge.
South Umpqua officially begins practice on August 19 and starts the season on September 6 against St. Mary’s.
