Beavers hosting, Ducks headed south for NCAA baseball tournament
The field of 64 is set for the NCAA baseball tournament.
Oregon State will host the Corvallis Regional starting on Friday and will welcome UC Irvine, Nicholls State and Tulane to Goss Stadium at Coleman Field for the double-elimination tournament.
Oregon State heads into postseason play as the No. 15 national seed. OSU has been ranked in the top 15 of every major poll for the entire season.
Regional play gets underway with UC Irvine and Nicholls State on Friday at 1 p.m. The Beavers will take on Tulane at 6 p.m.

Oregon will make its fourth consecutive postseason appearance starting on Friday. The Ducks were selected as an at-large team and will play in the Santa Barbara Regional along with UC Santa Barbara, San Diego and Fresno State.
The Ducks open the regional against San Diego on Friday at 12 p.m.
