
Playoff brackets are out and the postseason begins this week for a few local high school sports teams.
The volleyball playoffs begin on Wednesday for Roseburg, North Douglas, Days Creek, and Umpqua Valley Christian.
In the 6A playoffs, Roseburg will host West Linn in the first round at 6 p.m. The Indians are the 15-seed in the 32-team bracket, while the Lions are No. 18. Live video coverage of the match will be broadcasted by The Score 92.3 FM/1490 AM on 541radio.com.
The winner of the match moves on to face the winner of Beaverton and Sprague in the second round on Saturday.
The Class 1A volleyball playoffs also start on Wednesday.
Umpqua Valley Christian is the No. 4 seed and will host Rogue Valley Adventist at 6:30 p.m. North Douglas earned the 9-seed and plays at home against Eddyville Charter at 6 p.m. Days Creek is No. 20 in the 1A bracket and will play on the road at Prairie City/Burnt River at 5:30 p.m.
The winners move on to the second round on Saturday.
