The Douglas High School football team is hoting the Trojans youth football camp for 3rd-8th graders Saturday from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Winston. The camp is open to kids from all school districts and the cost is $30 per camper. Organizers are asking for cash only and for those attending to show up early for registration.
The camp will be run by Douglas High School coaches, junior high coaches and current high school players.
The Camas Valley Hornets are hosting a youth football camp next week starting Monday and running through Thursday. The camp is for footballers grades 4-12 and will run from 6-8 p.m. each night.
The cost is $30 per camper, which includes a camp shirt. Registration starts Monday at 5:30 p.m.
And the window to register for youth tackle football is closing. Those wanting to get their 4th-6th graders involved in tackle football can sign-up with Roseburg Youth Football until next Monday. Practices begin Aug. 21. For more details visit RoseburgYouthFootball.com.
