The Umpqua Valley 10U All-Star softball team has received a bid for the Babe Ruth World Series in Treasure Coast, Florida on July 26th, but the program needs to raise funds to make the trip possible.

The local all-stars are needing to come up with $30,000 to cover travel and lodging costs. A GoFundMe account has been set up to help raise the money. The team has raised nearly $1,500 through the GoFundMe account as of last check, but the team will also be doing car wash events and a donation account has also been set up at Rogue Credit Union under Umpqua Valley Softball (member #50050164).
