#UmpquaPreps: UVC takes Skyline League volleyball tournament title

TRI-CITY — The No. 2-ranked Umpqua Valley Christian volleyball team claimed the Skyline League tournament title with a sweep over No. 8 North Douglas on Saturday at South Umpqua High School.

Both teams will move on to the state playoffs beginning Wednesday.

Elkton won the third place match over Powers.

The Class 1A volleyball playoffs will feature a handful of Douglas County teams. First round matches will see Umpqua Valley Christian host Echo, North Douglas hosts Perrydale, Elkton hosts Damascus Christian and Glendale visits North Lake.
