Preps: Glide girls dominate home course in “This Run’s for Maynard” race

GLIDE — The Roseburg boys and Glide girls were the top local teams at the annual This Run’s for Maynard cross country meet at Glide High School.

Roseburg finished second behind Bandon in the boy’s standings. Ethan Williams led RHS with a fourth place finish.

Douglas senior Hudson Salas was the top local runner, finishing second with a time of 17 minutes, 47.97 seconds.

Glide’s Halle Goodman took first on her home course in a time of 20 minutes, 50.48 seconds. She led six Glide runners to finish in the top 10 on the way to winning the team title.

Oakland’s Katelyn Jimenez and Roseburg’s Audrey Allen also placed in the top 10.
