#UmpquaPreps: Local sports schedule for 9/17-18

ASHLAND — Glide sophomore Halle Goodman was among the top finishers at the Grizzly Invitational cross country meet at Oak Knoll Golf Course on Wednesday. Goodman finished the 5,000 meter course in a time of 21 minutes for a third place finish. She was less than 30 seconds behind the top placer.

The Glide girls had seven runners total and finished third in the team standings.

Douglas senior Hudson Salas was the top local placer in the boys 5,000 meter race. He placed 23rd in a time of 19 minutes, 38.4 seconds.
