Roseburg’s Jake Johnson plays in 5A/6A baseball all-star series

Roseburg High School graduate Jake Johnson helped the South Team split a two-game series against the North Team during the 5A/6A Richardson Oregon All-Star Series at Goss Stadium at Coleman Field in Corvallis over the weekend.

Johnson started at third base and was 1-for-2 in Game 1 on a rainy Saturday. The game was tied 1-1 after nine innings and was decided by a home run derby that was won by the North squad.

Game 2 on Sunday went to the South Team, 13-6. Johnson was 1-for-1 with a single and a walk.
