Roseburg’s Drew Dawson earns All-Tournament at AFSW Junior National Duals

MILWAUKEE, Wis. — Roseburg High School wrestler Drew Dawson was one of 50 athletes from 26 states to earn a spot on the men’s freestyle All-Tournament team during the 2025 Air Force Special Warfare Junior National Duals over the weekend at the Baird Center.

Dawson was 8-0 through two days of freestyle wrestling at 113 pounds with Team Oregon. A grappler needs to go undefeated with at least five victories to earn a spot on the All-Tournament team.

Team Oregon finished second in the Purple bracket after going 4-1 in duals. Dawson, a soon-to-be senior at Roseburg High School, served as the team captain for Oregon.

Dawson was had a 4-3 record during the Greco-Roman nationals held Wednesday and Thursday. He bounced between wrestling at 113 and 120 pounds due to injuries to a teammate. Team Oregon beat Team Maryland 44-26 and went 1-3 in the Red/Blue bracket to finish seventh.
