Roseburg boys tennis nabs 7-1 win over North Medford
The Roseburg boys tennis team won seven of eight matches to claim victory in a Southwest Conference dual meet with North Medford at the Umpqua Valley Tennis Center on Wednesday.
Roseburg’s singles players and doubles teams were dominant in their seven wins, never having to go to a third set against their North Medford counterparts.
The only loss for the Indians came in the No. 4 singles match. Austin Gibby lost to Ethan Allred, 6-2 , 6-2.
The Roseburg boys now prepare to head to Bend for a 16-team tournament on Friday and Saturday.
