North Douglas boys and girls clinch Skyline League regular season titles

GRANTS PASS — The North Douglas boys and girls basketball teams clinched Skyline League regular season titles with wins against New Hope Christian Wednesday night in Grants Pass.

The girls got a last-second 37-35 win over New Hope Christian to improve to 10-0 in league games.

Brooklyn Cyr hit the go-ahead bucket with 12 seconds remaining to earn the Lady Warriors’ 15th consecutive win. North Douglas led 31-24 going to the fourth period, but New Hope managed to close the game by outscoring the Warriors 11-6 over the final eight minutes of regulation.

Cyr finished with a game-high 22 points.

The North Douglas boys beat New Hope Christian 63-42 to remain undefeated in league games and clinch their own regular season title.
