ROSEBURG – The Umpqua men’s basketball team jumped on the Lane Titans quickly in the first half and led wire-to-wire in a 100-75 victory Wednesday night at Umpqua Community College.

Umpqua freshmanEric Klekas provided plenty of fire power, making nine three-pointers for a season-high 31 points. He made seven from behind the arc in the second half to pace the RiverHawks to as much as a 35-point advantage.

Keiron Goodwin led the Titans with 28 points.

It was the seventh time this season the UCC men have eclipsed 100 points in a game. The win keeps the RiverHawks in a tie for third with Linn-Benton.

Coming up next, the Umpqua RiverHawks will host the Mt. Hood Saints on Saturday.
