REDMOND – The Roseburg wrestling team went undefeated through its four pool matches at the Oregon Classic Dual Championships and advanced to the quarterfinals on Saturday.
The Indians defeated Clackamas 62-13 in their first dual and followed with a 51-15 win over Tualatin. The Tribe finished pool play with a 64-15 win over No. 10 Cleveland and a 60-8 triumph over West Albany.
Hunter Sparks went 4-0 in pool play with all four victories coming by fall. The Indians mixed and matched wrestlers at a number of different weight classes, but only suffered 11 loss in the four matches.
Roseburg advanced on to the quarterfinals on Saturday. The Tribe will face West Linn.
